 Jakarta;  The Election Committee for the PSSI NTT Asprov Congress on Friday (3/9/2021) will receive the final registration of candidates for the Chair, Deputy Chair and Executive Committee (Exco) of the PSSI NTT Asprov.  Saturday (4/9) The Election Committee will conduct a verification meeting and then announce the results of the verification of the candidates for Chair, Deputy Chair and members of the Executive Committee (Exco).  So far, there have been 3 names of candidates who have been registered by the Regency/City Association.

 In a football game, this afternoon until the afternoon can be considered as injury time.  From the file that was submitted in plain view, the candidates and their successful teams can already see, if I may use the term in football, ball possession during the registration stage.  In the game of football, even though the level of possession of the ball is more, it is not necessarily the team that wins the game.  But usually whoever controls the game, he will win the game.

 Towards injury time, the political intimidation was getting worse.  There are Askabs who choose because the Regional Head has the same party color, there are those who exert pressure through family relations, positions, to issues that can affect PON funds for the NTT football team that will depart in Papua.  However, the last issue, yesterday afternoon has been completed because the NTT CdM at PON Papua, Yosef Nae Soi (Vice Governor of NTT) has said that today (3/9) the PON funds can be disbursed.  As a footballer, finally relieved.

 3 candidates will definitely fight in the Musprov PSSI NTT match.  Petrus Christian Mboeik (Vice Chairman of the NTT DPRD), Fary Djemi Francis (Former Player/Commissioner of BUMN ASABRI) and Lambert Ara Tukan (ASN/former Secretary of Asprov).  Those who have the desire to lead PSSI NTT certainly have the same intention, advancing NTT football.  The NTT community and the Bola community can monitor the stages carried out by the Election Committee and the Appeals Committee.

 Referring to the PSSI Statute, there are requirements that must be met by the candidate for the Chair to the Exco.  The main requirement is to have been actively involved in football (not cans) and/or other sports activities organized by PSSI.  Other provisions of course comply with the Laws of the Game set by IFAB (International Football Association Board) and these regulations are also complied with by its members through binding provisions.  Violation of the obligations as mentioned above by each member may be subject to sanctions as provided for in the Statute.

 Likewise, members of the Executive Committee (Exco) are at least 30 years old, have been active in football for at least 5 (five) years, and must have never been found guilty of a crime and are domiciled in the territory of Indonesia.

 From the information currently circulating, 7 Askap have registered the names of Petrus Christian Mboeik, 11 Askab Fary Djemi Francis and 2 Askab Lambert Ara Tukan.  Thus, there are still 7 Askab that have not provided a letter of support.  Askab (Ngada) registered 2 names of candidates (Fary Djemi Francis and Petrus Christian Mboeik).  Who is valid, will be determined by the Election Committee in a verification meeting.  Usually if there are two letters of support, the verification team will look at the date of issue, whichever came first.  If you can make it easy, why look for it so hard, that's about it.

 Although there have been 3 candidates who will fight at the PSSI NTT congress, as time goes on to the congress, there could be a head to head between Christ Mboeik - Fary Francis.  If this happens, the Lambert Tukan factor should not be underestimated.  Talking about football, ideally, soccer people choose soccer people, politicians will be affiliated with politicians.  One will talk about achievement and the other will talk about interests and power.  Please the voters think, the fate of NTT football is in your hands.
