Old faces, new flavors in the Denpasar music scene. The death of music in this pandemic era has not stopped Ardy and Sari from continuing to work. Challenging their musical luck in 2022, they collaborated and formed a new band called EXCIRA. The name EXCIRA itself comes from the Irish proverb "Delira & Excira" which means delirious and excite.
Starting a career early in 2022, EXCIRA released an acoustic video which was launched on January 13 yesterday at 17.00 WITA on the Exciraofficial Youtube channel. This song is also a draft song for EXCIRA's latest single which will be released in February.
The latest single from EXCIRA, which is currently being prepared, entitled “Gaslighter”, tells about the attitude of someone who is getting tired of dealing with the behavior of people who like to act as they please, play games and manipulate feelings.
In order to promote the first single, EXCIRA held a Mini Tour promo to various regions in Bali. The Mini Tour is divided into 2 sessions, the first session will be held in January and the second session will be held in February. The points that will be visited are those with the largest Makers Family fanbase on the island of Bali, such as Denpasar, Canggu, Ubud, and Kuta.
The tour, which was organized by Berangkat Management, is expected to be a medium for conveying positive things through music and can provide an example of a good attitude to the younger generation of Indonesia.
Chaerul Adjam as the producer of EXCIRA admitted that he really supports the collaboration between Ardy and Sari who are now members of EXCIRA. “As a person who is always behind the scenes, seeing the chemistry between Ardy and Sari, if they are put together it will be very interesting. So I thought about combining them in this band, EXCIRA.” he said.
With the help of Eko Ramone, Chaerul Adjam believes that in order to improve the music scene in Bali, all opportunities must be pursued. Must be implemented. “Opportunities after opportunities to revitalize the music scene in Bali will be created as we are determined to believe in how to cultivate talent into something special that people look forward to. In this regard, I also feel grateful that the 'Departure Management', which I created, can be a blessing to many musicians, and hopefully always be able to 'deliver' the dreazms of musicians and the music scene in Bali to reach their goals.” he concluded.
