Bengkalis | When President Joko Widodo paid a working visit to Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province, on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, the President spoke with a young mangrove activist who conveyed his request to get scholarship assistance for courses in one of the exporters' communities.

"We hope that because we are in the village, information is difficult, we hope that there will be opportunities as well as scholarship assistance," said Kasbul Asror, a young man in Bengkalis Regency.

The Head of State asked about the commodities in the area whose exports would be developed. Asror also explained it and expressed his desire to help develop the potential of these commodities.

“What is your commodity? Later, for example, you won't go to school at that school, in that community, what are you going to do here?" asked the President.

"Here, starting with marine products, rubber is also available, sir, helping the development here," said Asror.

"Okay okay good, okay good. So that means you see here there is an opportunity that you want to take advantage of, right?" asked the Head of State. “Yes,” answered Asror.

Furthermore, the President also gave recommendations to the youth regarding the community for exporters in the city of Solo.

"Just prepare tickets immediately, prepare tickets, if not in Jakarta, in Solo," said the President to the Assistant Adjutant AKP Syarif M. Fitriansyah who was beside him.

The President also advised the youth to continue to learn about the potential for export commodities in their area to be developed, including their capacity.

"This means that later you will bridge farmers, fishermen, to be able to export," said the President.
