Prog.world day this time is the 275th series for 11 years, 2 months has been vacuum during PPKM, now level 3 arouses the spirit of music and culinary tourism in Bali.

The event was lively but very orderly and still adhered to health protocols because there was a commitment between Ade Karang's Progworld Management and Gujji cafe so that there would be no crowds. Although there were 17 bands that performed, every band that had performed immediately went home and continued with the next band that would perform. The 34th anniversary of the AMS band itself took place very simply. With a commemoration ceremony marked by singing the song Happy Birthday and blowing the candles, then cutting the cake which was distributed to AMS 2021 personnel, namely Ade Karang (personnel who has remained since 1987) continued to be given to Agus Sonor (3rd formation personnel 2015 to 2021) and Jyo Pratika is a little drum beater who is still in 6th grade of elementary school who just joined in 2021. It is very extraordinary for this little drum beater to be able to play beautifully with RUSH songs with his uncles/uncles who are very senior in the Progressive music scene.

AMS's long journey was originally taken from the initial personnel, namely Ade Karang (Bass, Vocals, Keyboard), Merta (Guitar), Sigid Priyo (drums).


AMS is the first step for Ade Karang to bring Progressive rock music. The band was founded on 29 September 1987 in Denpasar, Bali. AMS is the initials of the three members, namely Ade, Merta and Sigit, but over time the meaning of AMS became Art Music Sound, especially guitarist. has died and drummer Sigit Priyo lives in Java, so there have been several changes in personnel except for an irreplaceable coral. AMS is a band that usually performs songs from the famous Canadian band, RUSH, however, in 2016 released its original single entitled "Reincarnation". 26 September 2021 is used as the anniversary of the founding of AMS 34 years ago. AMS's newest line-up is Ade Karang (bass, vocals & keyboard), Agus sonnor (guitar) and Jyo pratika (drums).

PROGWORLD under Management led by Ade Karang used to routinely once every 2 weeks and even once a week held a jamming concert from one cafe/restaurant to another but had a 2 month break because of PPKM level 4 and during PPKM level 3 while still prioritizing health protocols. Ade Karang along with other bands seemed to let go of their longing to perform with young and senior musicians in Bali. And the satisfaction of the musicians can be seen with the enthusiasm of their performance on stage.

The event starts at 11.00 am and ends at 19.30 pm.

All musicians, including Ade Karang, who accommodates young Balinese musicians to jam together and create works, sincerely hope that Bali will be open again for International and Domestic tourists and Bali Tourism will rise again.
